2013 Final Distribution - determination of currency amounts

Glencore has previously announced that:

1.   Its final distribution for 2013 is US$0.111 per ordinary share

2.   This distribution is payable on 30 May 2014 to holders of record at the close of business on Friday 16 May on the Jersey register and at the opening of business on Friday 16 May on the Hong Kong branch register

3.   The final distribution has been declared and is payable in US dollars, although shareholders on the Jersey register have been able to elect to receive their distribution payments in Pounds Sterling, Euros or Swiss Francs. Shareholders on the Hong Kong branch register will receive their distributions in HK dollars.

4.   The Pound Sterling, Euro, Swiss Franc and HK dollar amounts payable are determined by reference to the closing mid exchange rates applicable to the US dollar on Wednesday 21 May 2014.

The following rates were published in the Financial Times today, Thursday 22 May 2014:

Accordingly, for non US dollar payments the amount payable per share on 30 May 2014 will be approximately:

An announcement was made in South Africa on 5 May regarding the determination of the South African Rand amount payable in respect of shares on the Johannesburg register.
