Lonmin Distribution - further information

Further to the announcement on 11 May Glencore plc ("Glencore" or the "Company") announces that the precise entitlement is 1.079134 shares for every 100 Glencore shares held. All entitlements will be rounded down to the nearest whole number of Lonmin shares.

The Company has previously announced the timetable for the distribution event and would like to highlight to shareholders that the Ex-Dividend date in respect of the Lonmin distribution for the Hong Kong branch register is Thursday 14 May and not Wednesday 13 May.
