TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Pursuant to DTR 5.6.1 of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Glencore notifies the market of the following:

At close of business on 31 October 2012, Glencore's issued voting share capital consisted of 7,099,456,031 ordinary shares of U.S.$0.01 each. Each ordinary share carries one voting right. The Company holds no shares in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Glencore is 7,099,456,031.

The above figure of 7,099,456,031 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Glencore under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
