Notification of transactions by connected person of Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Pursuant to the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1, Glencore International plc notifies that on 21 November 2011 FR Galaxy Holdings S.à r.l. (FR) notified the Company that:
1. on 17 November 2011, FR sold 1,875,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company listed on the London Stock Exchange (Shares) at a price of £4.1257 per Share, and its affiliate ECP Galaxy Holdings S.à r.l. (ECP) sold 125,000 Shares at the same price per Share;
2. on 17 November 2011, FR and ECP increased their respective economic interests in respect of Shares under the share swap transactions previously notified on 12 September 2011, by a further 1,875,000 Shares in the case of FR and by a further 125,000 Shares in the case of ECP at the price of £4.1257 per Share;
3. these transactions constitute notifiable transactions under DTR 3.1.2; and
4. these transactions took place in London.
FR is a connected person of Mr. William Macaulay, a Director and person discharging managerial responsibilities of Glencore International plc.
