Dublin/London, 4 September 2020: Glenveagh Properties plc ("Glenveagh" or the "Company") today announces that Robert Dix has been appointed as Senior Independent Director ('SID') with immediate effect. Robert succeeds Lady Barbara Judge, who sadly passed away on 31 August 2020, as previously disclosed.

Cara Ryan was appointed as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee on 3 September 2020 and will succeed Robert Dix as Chair with effect from 8 September 2020. Cara has now also been appointed as a member of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee with immediate effect.
Pat McCann was appointed as a member of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee on 3 September 2020.
Chairman John Mulcahy commented "We are deeply saddened by the untimely death of Lady Barbara. Nevertheless, as a Board we must move on and I welcome Robert to Glenveagh's SID role and look forward to continuing to work with him in his new capacity. Robert's knowledge of the Company and understanding of the issues that affect our business and the interests of our shareholders together with his strong commitment to good governance make him an excellent appointment to the role.
