Singapore/London, 31 May 2022 - Global Invacom (SGX: QS9) (AIM: GINV), the global provider of satellite communications equipment and electronics, is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, OnePath Networks Limited, trading as "Global Foxcom", has launched its new Mini-Global Navigation Satellite System ("GNSS") repeater kit, another addition to Global Foxcom's highly successful range of Satcom Repeater solutions.
The new compact repeater is equipped with a unique set of features making it one of the most versatile and advanced GNSS repeater solutions available on the market.
The new dual zone Mini-GNSS repeater, not only offers a strong 'value' proposition but also offers additional functionality, which includes:
• universal compatibility, GNSS satellite support on all radio frequency ("RF") bands built-in RF Filters and digital gain control;
• active antenna monitoring, provides info and protect the system; and
• RF over gain protection circuit, prevent signal leakage scenarios.
Global Positioning System ("GPS") L1, L2 and L5 signals can be passed through the repeater into an internal space, increasing the reliability of satellite navigation devices indoors, eliminating any satellite acquisition delay when leaving the building.
Leveraging over 25 years of RF and optical experience, the repeater equipment is designed to cover a wide range of commercial and military applications, such as aircraft hangars, fleet management facilities, tunnels, police and fire Stations, manufacturing and testing facilities.
The repeater will enable Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) engineers to undertake constant avionic testing without having to move aircraft in and out of the hangar, as is the current practice.
Global Foxcom offers a variety of high-end GNSS, Iridium and Inmarsat Fiber/Coax-based satellite repeaters making it a one-stop-shop for commercial, military and aviation customers around the globe.
