Adoption of ASX Whistleblower Policy

The Board of Global Petroleum Limited (AIM: GBP, ASX: GBP) announces that following a new recommendation by the ASX concerning corporate governance, it has formally adopted a whistleblower policy, as now required for ASX listed entities.

The Company encourages the reporting of any instances of suspected unethical, illegal, fraudulent or undesirable conduct involving the Company's businesses and provides protections and measures so that those persons who make a report may do so confidentially and without fear of intimidation, disadvantage or reprisal.  The policy encourages reporting of such matters and provides effective protection from victimisation or dismissal to those reporting by implementing systems for confidentiality and report handling.
