APPOINTMENT OF FIRSTENERGY CAPITAL LLP AS CO-BROKER

Global Petroleum Limited ("Global"), is pleased to announce the appointment of FirstEnergy Capital LLP ("FirstEnergy") as co-broker to the Company with immediate effect.  Northland Capital Partners Limited have been retained as co-broker, and as NOMAD for the purposes of the Company's AIM listing.

FirstEnergy is a leading international energy-focused bank, providing full-service energy investment banking operations.  FirstEnergy's UK activities include corporate broking, equity research, sales and trading, corporate mergers and acquisitions and oil and gas property acquisitions and divestiture advisory.

FirstEnergy's experience and capabilities are expected to be of significant assistance to the Company in developing and funding its business activities in the future.
