Global Petroleum Limited announces that on Tuesday 14 November 2006 Peter
Dighton, a Director of the Company sold 50,000 ordinary shares of no par value
in the Company at an average of 32.5p (A$0.80.4 cents) per share. The shares
represented 0.03% of the issued capital of the Company.

Following the sale Mr Dighton holds no ordinary shares in the Company and holds
200,000 Options over the ordinary shares which are exercisable by 31 December
2008 at 10p (25 cents).
