                               Director share sale

Global Petroleum Limited advises that on 24 March 2006 TM Services Limited, a
company jointly owned by Peter Taylor and Peter Blakey sold 400,000 ordinary
shares of no par value ('Shares') in the Company at A$0.59 cents per Share
representing 0.23 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

Following this sale, TM Services Limited now holds 4,286,905 shares
(representing 2.52 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital).

The interests of Peter Blakey, Peter Taylor and their respective associates are
as follows:

3,112,000 Shares held by IPM Personal Pension Fund Trustees Limited.
