                       DATACASH GROUP PLC ("The Company")


The Company has today made application for a total of 14,875 new ordinary shares
of 1 penny ("the new ordinary shares"), pursuant to the exercise of options
under the Unapproved Share Option Scheme, for admission to trading on the AIM
Market of the London Stock Exchange.  The new ordinary shares on admission will
be issued credited as fully paid and will rank pari passu with the existing
ordinary shares.  It is expected that such admission will become effective on
7th September 2004
