DataCash Group Plc (the "Company")

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 17,500 new ordinary
shares of 1 pence each (the "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to AIM
pursuant to the exercise of share options under the Unapproved Share Option
Scheme.  The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing ordinary shares in issue and it is expected that admission will be come
effective and that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence on 4
February 2005.
