               DATACASH GROUP PLC ('DataCash' or 'the Company')

                               AGM STATEMENT

Ashley Head, Chairman of DataCash Group plc, the AIM-listed payment service
provider, made the following statement at the AGM held at noon today, 27th June
2007 at which all the resolutions were carried:

"The Group has seen good growth in both revenue and transaction volumes so far
this year. Revenues lost from the fallout in the US are continuing to be
replaced as our customers expand their operations in other countries.

Merchant acquisition in both the Card Holder Present and Card Holder Not Present
markets in the UK has been encouraging, with a strong pipeline in Travel ,
Leisure and Retail, and we continue to build on our dominant market position and
reputation in gaming, both at home and abroad. Our cash position continues to
strengthen, and, overall, we are pleased with Group performance to date.

We are actively exploring opportunities to further extend our international
coverage.

We will report our interim results in September."
