AGM Statement

Ashley Head, Chairman of DataCash Group plc, the AIM-listed payment service provider, will make the following statement at the AGM to be held at 13.00 today, 8th July 2008: 

"The Board is pleased with progress in the first half of 2008. We have seen growth in both revenue and transaction volumes and trading remains in-line with the Board's expectations. Cash (including security deposits and after the ACK acquisition payments) as at 30 June, stood at £19m, which keeps the Group in a good position to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.

The previously announced acquisition of ACK has been well-received in the market, and we look forward to consolidating our position as the "outsource solution of choice" for international retailers. Interim results are expected to be announced on the 4th September 2008.
