Marc Wood Appointed Director
auxinet plc, the AIM listed e-commerce enabler is pleased to announce the
appointment of Marc Wood as a director of the Company with effect from 3
January 2001.
Marc has been employed within the Group since April 2000 and has been
responsible for conceptualising and developing the Group's B2B payment
solution Platima. When launched Platima will consolidate the auxinet Group's
position as a provider of e-commerce payments services complementing DataCash,
the leading UK B2C e-commerce payments solutions provider.
Mr Wood (age 44) joined auxinet from Equifax Europe where he held the role of
Senior Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions and e-commerce. During 5 years
with Equifax Marc was responsible for establishing Equifax within the
international cheque guarantee, credit card payments processing and risk
management markets through various acquisitions, most notably that of Transax
plc where he was CEO. Marc was a director of a number of subsidiary companies
of Equifax in the previous five years, all of which he resigned on leaving to
join the Group. Prior to Equifax Marc spent 15 years in sales and marketing
at large-scale IT services businesses Perot Systems and Electronic Data
Systems (EDS).
David Bailey, chairman of auxinet, said: 'Marc has achieved considerable

further success in meeting the Group's strategic objectives'.
