DataCash Group plc ("DataCash" or "the Company")

Clarification statement

The Board wishes to clarify the statement which it made in its full year results
which read:

"The Board looks forward with confidence and expectations of good revenue and
profits growth in 2006."

The Board has been advised that the above statement could be interpreted as a
profits forecast for the coming year. That was not the Board's intention and
considers that it is too early in the financial year to make any forecast of the
likely outcome for the year ended 31 December 2006.
