                                   GENESIS WORLDWIDE INC. ANNOUNCES
                                    DIRECTORS' STOCK OPTION GRANTS

Mississauga, Ontario, August 11, 2008 - Genesis Worldwide Inc. ("Genesis" or the "Company"), (TSX/AIM:
GWI),  a leading provider of 'green' structural building technology using light steel, announces  that
the  non-executive directors of the Company, namely Richard Black, Ralph Steedman, Timothy  Armstrong,
Paul  Phipps and William Assini were granted 10,000 stock options each on August 11, 2008, exercisable
into  Common Shares of Genesis, at the five day volume weighted average exercise price of Cdn.  $1.11,
vesting  at  25%  on each of the first, second, third and fourth anniversary of the  grant  date,  and
expiring ten years from the grant date.
