GOLDSTONE RESOURCES LIMITED
HOLDING IN COMPANY
The Directors of GoldStone Resources Limited (the 'Company') announce that they
were informed on 18 October 2005 that City Equities Limited ('City Equities')
had purchased 7,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company, representing
5.36 per cent. of the issued share capital.
Having sold, acting as principal, 3,987,000 ordinary shares to certain of its
private clients, as at the close of business on 17 October 2005 City Equities
held 3,013,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 2.31 per cent. of
the issued share capital and therefore ceased to have a notifiable interest in
the Company.
In addition, on 17 October 2005, the Directors were informed that as a result of
the recent placing by the Company, Legal & General Group PLC and / or its
subsidiaries ceased to have a notifiable interest in the Company.
