Notice of AGM
Good Energy announces that its Notice of AGM has been posted to shareholders today and will shortly be available on the Company's website at https://group.goodenergy.co.uk/investor-information/agm-information/.
The Company will be holding its AGM at 12pm at Chippenham Town Hall, High Street, Chippenham, SN15 3ER on Thursday 21 June 2018.
Forms of proxy must be completed, signed and returned so as to be received by the Company's Registrars by no later than 12pm on Tuesday 19 June 2018. Full details are set out in the Notice of AGM and on the Company's website.
Scrip Dividend
The Directors recommended a final dividend of 2.3p per share for the year ended 31 December 2017 when announcing the Company's preliminary results on 21 March 2018. In response to continued shareholder interest, the Board has decided to continue to offer shareholders a scrip dividend alternative to the final dividend. Documentation setting out full details relating to this scrip dividend has been sent to shareholders today.
Subject to approval of the final dividend at the AGM on 21 June 2018, the final dividend will be payable to shareholders whose names are on the register at close of business 1 June 2018. The Company's shares will trade ex dividend from 31 May 2018.
If shareholders wish to receive all or part of this dividend by way of new shares in the Company, election forms need to be filed by 4pm on 19 June 2018. If no action is taken, the dividend will be paid as cash. The reference price of the scrip shares in respect of the dividend will be calculated and published on or around 7 June 2018.
