Operation of scrip dividend scheme
The Board of Good Energy Group PLC, which supplies and generates 100% renewable electricity and carbon neutral gas to UK homes and businesses, is pleased to announce an interim dividend of 1p per ordinary share for the period to 30 June 2016, as set out in the Company's interim results released this morning. The dividend is payable on 19 October 2016 to shareholders whose names are on the register at close of business on 22 September 2016. The shares will trade ex-dividend on 23 September 2016.
The Directors have once again decided to offer shareholders the opportunity to elect to receive dividends in the form of new shares in the Company as an alternative to a cash dividend payment.
Documentation setting out full details of the scrip dividend scheme will be sent to all shareholders on 15 September 2016.
If shareholders wish to receive this dividend in the form of new shares in the Company, election forms need to be filed by 4pm on 3 October 2016. If no action is taken, the dividend will be paid as cash. The reference price of the scrip shares in respect of the dividend will be calculated and published on or around 29 September 2016.
The timetable for the operation of the Scrip dividend scheme in respect of the 2016 interim dividend is set out below.

3 October, 4pm: Final date and time for receipt of Mandate Forms
17 October: Posting of dividend cheques and tax vouchers for cash dividend

19 October: Issue of new share certificates for scrip dividend
19 October: Cash dividend payment date and trading of new shares commences
