("Good Energy" or the "Company")
Scrip Dividend Elections
Good Energy announces that it has received elections to accept the scrip dividend alternative from holders of 2,096,506 ordinary shares of 5p each ("Ordinary Shares") in relation to the interim dividend for the period to 30 June 2021. This accounts for 12.5% of the 16,717,449 Ordinary Shares in issue on 22 October 2021 (the "Record Date").
4,641 new Ordinary Shares ("Scrip Dividend Shares") will be issued in satisfaction of such elections at an equivalent price of 321p each.
The Scrip Dividend Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued Ordinary Shares. Dealings in the Scrip Dividend Shares are expected to commence on or around 29 November 2021. Share certificates and scrip dividend vouchers for the Scrip Dividend Shares will be posted on the same date.
Following the admission of the Scrip Dividend Shares, the enlarged issued share capital of Good Energy will consist of 16,783,914 Ordinary Shares. There are no shares held in Treasury. This is, therefore, the figure to be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in Good Energy.
