        Re-registration of BPT plc as a private listed company

        Bromley Property Investments Limited announces that


(a) its subsidiary, BPT plc, today (14 November 2001), re-registered as a
    private limited company and will from today be known as BPT Limited; and

(b) on 16 November 2001 the £75m 6.90 per cent. listed bonds due 2014 issued by
    BPT plc (now known as BPT Limited) (the 'Bonds') will be redeemed fully and
    as result 20 Business Days' notice is hereby given under Chapter 1.25 of
    the Listing Rules of BPT Limited's intention to cancel the listing of the
    Bonds.
