          NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS


The Company has been advised that on 21 September 2006, Mrs G E C Sclater, the
wife of Mr J R Sclater, the Chairman of the Company, bought 20,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at a price of 357.0p per share, representing 0.024% of the
Company's issued share capital.

Following this purchase, Mr Sclater and his connected persons have a total
interest of 22,747 shares in the Company representing 0.027% of the Company's
issued share capital.
