Great Portland Estates plc announces that on 9 June 2003, 3,744 shares held in 
the Company's Deferred Bonus Plan vested, in accordance with the terms of the 
Plan, and were transferred to John Whiteley, a director of the Company. As a 
result, the beneficial holding of Mr. Whiteley and his family now comprises 
34,744 shares (0.017% of the issued share capital). Following today's 
announcement, 18,363 shares held in the Plan have not yet vested.
