Great Portland Estates plc (the "Company" or "GPE")

GPE appoints Non-Executive Director

The Company announces that Emma Woods will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 February 2022 and will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees from that date.

Emma is currently a Non-Executive Director, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of The Gym Group plc, Chair of Tortilla Mexican Grill plc and an Advisory Board Member of the Wagamama Brand Board. Emma was Chief Executive Officer at Wagamama between 2018 and 2021 and previously held senior marketing roles at Merlin Entertainments, Pizza Express and Unilever.

Commenting on the appointment, GPE Chairman Richard Mully said:

Emma brings extensive operational, customer service, digital and marketing experience, which will be hugely valuable to the development of our strategy as we position GPE to further enhance delivery on our customers' needs. There are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R in respect of Emma Woods.
