Great Western Mining Corporation PLC
("Great Western", "the Company" or "GWM")
Additional listing on the Irish Stock Exchange and appointment of Irish Broker
Great Western Mining Corporation PLC, the AIM listed Copper, Gold, Silver and other metals explorer in Nevada with claims covering 7,305 hectares, announces that it is seeking admission to the Enterprise Securities Market (ESM) of the Irish Stock Exchange. Subject to the application being accepted, the admission date is expected to be 3 November 2011.
The Company, which is registered in Dublin, believes that this secondary listing will provide greater liquidity in its shares as a result of better stock market accessibility for the existing and other potential, Irish resident shareholders. Of the 380 individual shareholders, 130 are thought to be Irish, representing approximately 45% of the issued shares.
Great Western is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Ireland's largest Independent Stockbroker, Bloxham Stockbrokers, as ESM Adviser and Joint Broker, with immediate effect.
Emmett O'Connell, Chairman, GWM, Commented:
"We see great sense in making the Company more accessible to Irish investors given the following we have enjoyed from existing Irish investors in the past and the indications of an even stronger following in the future.
"We are delighted with the appointment of Bloxham Stockbrokers which will oversee the regulatory requirements of ESM whilst taking our investment story to its clients."
