                                            Exploration Update

Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (the "Company" or "GWM") announces the summary results of aeromagnetic
and ASTER satellite interpretations recently completed on its Marietta exploration property in Mineral
County, Nevada, USA.

Existing high-quality USGS (United States Geological Survey) public domain aeromagnetic data, over and
surrounding the GWM property, were interpreted by Chris S. Ludwig, Geophysical Consultant.  ASTER satellite
imagery were procured over the same general area, and interpreted by Ming-Ho Du of Image2Map Services, Inc.
ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission Reflectance Radiometer) satellite imagery is an advanced
imaging system developed through a joint effort of NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Japanese
government.

The ASTER and magnetic interpretations identified several zones of interest within and near the GWM
property - some of which are seen to correlate with each other. These zones include areas of ASTER
alteration that may be indicative of significant mineralization, as well as magnetic responses that may
relate to magnetite-bearing skarn.  The Directors believe that a number these targets could represent high
quality areas of mineralization.

As an example, one potential target area is a magnetic high nearly 2,400 metres long and about 700 metres
wide, with a source interpreted as being buried roughly 100 metres deep, completely within the existing GWM
claims.  Recent grab samples obtained in the vicinity of this target show high copper oxide values in
skarn, further supporting the Director's interest in these new findings.
