Re: Issue of Ordinary Shares Pursuant to Scrip Dividend Scheme

Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for admission to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and to
the Official List of the UK Listing Authority of 670,467 Ordinary Shares of
nominal value €0.63 each.  Application has also been made to the Irish Stock
Exchange and the London Stock Exchange for the admissions of theses shares to
trading.  These shares have been allotted pursuant to the Company's Scrip
Dividend Scheme.

Dealings in the shares are expected to commence of 12 February 2003.
