On 15 August 2001, Greggs plc (the 'Company') was notified that on 15th August
2001 Ian Davis Gregg, (a director of the Company), had disposed of 10,000
ordinary shares of 20p each (0.08% of the issued share capital) by way of gift
to the Bampton Trust ('The Trust') a charitable trust of which both Ian Davis
Gregg and Andrew John Davison (a substantial shareholder in the Company) are
trustees.
The total beneficial and non-beneficial holding of Ian Gregg and of Andrew
Davison following this transaction are:-
