notifiable interest as from 8th June 2001 is as follows:-

PRUCLT HSBC GIS NOM (UK) PPL AC         2,400 ordinary shares of 20p 
Total                                 577,400 ordinary shares of 20p

This holding represents 4.81% of the issued share capital of the Company.
