Greggs plc (Company) announces that, following the posting of its Annual Report
and Accounts for the year ended 30 December 2006 to shareholders on 11 April
2007 (including a statement of the information disclosed to the Company in
accordance with sections 198 to 208 companies Act 1985 or DTR 5 as at 12 March
2007 as required by listing rule 9.8.6 (2)),  it has come to the Company's
attention that (to the best of its knowledge) none of Aegon Asset Management UK
plc, Aviva plc or Standard Life had a disclosable interest in the share capital
of the Company as at that date.
