Appointment of non-executive director
The Company is pleased to announce that on 21 June 2001
Ted Aves was appointed to the Board as a non-executive
director. Ted, 65, has extensive experience in corporate
marketing and was previously Chairman of the consulting
division of ECM and Vice-Chairman at Benton & Bowles.
As well as providing his marketing experience to the
Board, he will also serve on the Audit Committee and
replace Steve Purchase on the Remuneration Committee.
Andrew Walton-Green, Chief Executive Officer, said, 'I'm
delighted to welcome someone of Ted's calibre to the
Board. Ted's expertise in corporate marketing and
strategic direction will be a valuable addition to the
Board and assist with the continued development of the
Group.'
There are no further details to disclose for the purpose
of Rule 16.4(b).
