                      Appointment of non-executive director

The Company is pleased to announce that on 11 August, Alan Howarth was appointed
to the Board as a non-executive director. Alan, 57, has extensive experience
advising major private and public organisations on strategic and operational
improvement. He has spent the last 20 years as a management consultant, firstly
as a partner with Ernst & Young and more recently as Managing Director of
Compass Management Consulting Limited. Alan is currently a non-executive
director of MacLellan Group plc and is non-executive Chairman of an NHS trust.

Alan will bring to the Board his sales, marketing and operational awareness
across all business sectors. He will also serve on Gresham's Audit and
Remuneration Committees.

strengthen the Board and benefit the continued development of the Company'
