Director Shareholding

The Company announces that on 22 September 2004, Mr SW Purchase sold 250,000
ordinary shares of 5 pence each, representing 0.5% of the outstanding share
capital, at a price of £2.85 per share. The Company was informed of this sale on
22 September 2004.

As a result, Mr Purchase has reduced his beneficial interest in the ordinary
shares of the Company to 4,034,591, representing 8.2% of the outstanding share
capital.

The total number of outstanding ordinary shares of the Company remains unchanged
at 49,420,788 ordinary shares of 5p each.
