Director Shareholding

The Company announces that on 8 February 2005, Alan Howarth & Associates
Limited, a company controlled by Mr A M Howarth, the Company's Chairman,
purchased 3,200 ordinary shares of 5 pence each, representing 0.0065% of the
outstanding share capital, at a price of £3.075 per share. The Company was
informed of this purchase on 8 February 2005.

As a result, Mr A M Howarth has increased his beneficial interest in the
ordinary shares of the Company from nil to 3,200, representing 0.0065% of the
outstanding share capital.

The total number of outstanding ordinary shares of the Company remains unchanged
at 49,590,788 ordinary shares of 5p each.
