The Company was notified on 24 September 2003, that, following the purchase of
150,000 ordinary shares of 5p each on 23 September 2003, the total number of
shares of which Legal & General Group Plc companies are now the beneficial
owners is 1,533,290 ordinary shares of 5p each representing 3.15% of the issued
ordinary shares of the Company. The holdings are registered as follows:
