                               Interests in shares

The Company was notified today that, following the disposal of 650,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on 4 November 2003, the total number of ordinary shares
held by Mrs M A Green in the Company is now 3,273,290 representing 6.67% of the
issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The Company was notified today by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co that, following the
acquisition of 650,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 4 November 2003, the
total number of ordinary shares held by it's subsidiary J.P. Morgan Fleming
Asset Management (UK) Limited, in its capacity as discretionary investment
manager for various funds, in the Company is now 5,800,819 representing 11.81%
of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
