New Accounting Ref Date-Amend

The issuer advises that the change to the previous announcement (RNS No: 7571M 
released at 10.50am today) relates to an amendment in the second sentence.

This now reads 'This is so that its financial year is realigned with its two
largest distributors', not 'its two largest customers, IBM and Tivoli.' as
previously announced.

In all other respects the announcement remains unchanged.

               Change in Accounting Reference Date - Amendment

Gresham Computing plc, provider of enterprise software and solutions,
announces that it is changing in its accounting reference date. This is so
that its financial year is realigned with its two largest distributors.
Accordingly, the accounting period which began on 1st November 2000 will be
fourteen months and will now end on 31 December 2001. The Company will
announce preliminary results for that period in March 2002.
