Griffin Mining Limited ('Griffin') was advised on 31st December 2002 that Mr Dal
S Brynelsen a non-executive director of Griffin had sold 100,000 ordinary shares
in Griffin at $0.175 (£0.11) per share on 19th December 2002. Following this
sale Mr Dal S Brynelsen has an interest in 200,001 ordinary shares representing
0.2% of the issued share capital of Griffin.
