                            RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR


Mr Gordon Montgomery has today resigned as a non-executive director of Griffin
Mining Limited following his appointment as a full time executive of Capricorn
Programmes Limited.

The directors are grateful for the valuable contribution Gordon has made to the
