Within the past few days, numerous Griffin personnel have been granted visas to travel to the Peoples Republic of China. As a result of the lifting of these restrictions, Griffin has given instructions for the confirmatory ore block modeling and costing in China to be completed as soon as possible. Assuming no further delays are forthcoming, the Company expects the feasibility study to be completed by the end of August 2003. Griffin also expects to resume its proposed summer drilling programme as soon as drilling equipment and contractors are available to travel to China. Commenting on this development, Chairman Mladen Ninkov said: 'The SARS virus was an unforeseeable and extremely inconvenient delay to the development of Caijiaying. Now that the restrictions have been lifted, the Company will continue to move at full speed with its development.'
