Notification of Results for the Six Months ended 30 June 2010

Change of Announcement Date

GlaxoSmithKline plc ("the Company") today advised that it is to announce its results for the six months ended 30^th June 2010 at 12 noon on Wednesday 21^st July 2010.

The announcement was previously scheduled on Thursday 22^nd July. The Company is making this change as other pharmaceutical companies are scheduled to report results on 22^nd July.

The ex-dividend date, record date and payment date for the second quarter dividend are not affected by this change.
