Dr M M Slaoui     Following the vesting of 2,313.93 ordinary shares under the 
                  GlaxoSmithKline Deferred Investment Award on 1 August 2007, 
                  Dr M M Slaoui is due to receive a payment of £12.61 per 
                  ordinary share on 24 August 2007.

                  The Company was advised of this transaction on 3 August 2007.
