Dr L      The Administrators of the SmithKline Beecham Scientific Advisory Board
Shapiro   Share Allocation Plan notified GlaxoSmithKline plc on 28 March 2001
          that Dr Shapiro had been provisionally allocated 266 American
          Depository Shares (ADS) at an average price of $47.49 on 22 March 2001
          as per the share election arrangements for the Scientific Advsiory
          Board. Dr Shapiro was also notified of this change on 28 March 2001.
