GlaxoSmithKline plc in respect of the under-mentioned director:-

Mr D F  The Administrators of the GlaxoSmithKline Global BuyDirect Plan
McHenry notified the Company and Mr McHenry on 10 July 2001 that he had
        increased his interest by 0.201 Ordinary Share ADRs at a price of
        $56.3603 per share following the re-investment of the dividend paid to
        shareholders on the 5 July 2001.
