QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 10,000 shares purchased on 28 February 2013, 40,000 shares purchased on 5 March 2013, the 30,000 shares purchased on 6 March 2013, the 1,000,000 shares purchased on 8 March 2013, the 300,000 shares purchased on 13 March 2013, and the 15,000 shares purchased on 14 March 2013 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 4,402,338 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 155,582,833 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 4,402,338 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 155,582,833.
