TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 20,000 shares purchased on 02 September 2013, the 77,052 shares purchased on 04 September 2013, the 40,000 shares purchased on 05 September 2013, the 20,000 shares purchased on 06 September 2013, the 20,000 shares purchased on 09 September 2013, the 34,992 shares purchased on 10 September 2013, the 37,000 shares purchased on 11 September 2013, the 20,000 shares purchased on 12 September 2013, the 65,000 shares purchased on 13 September 2013, the 47,075 shares purchased on 16 September 2013,  the 25,000 shares purchased on 17 September 2013, the 20,000 shares purchased on 18 September 2013,  the 90,000 shares purchased on 19 September 2013, the 32,500 shares purchased on 20 September 2013 and the 30,000 shares purchased on 24 September 2013,  have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 1,864,593 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 154,796,378 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 1,864,593 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 154,796,378.
