QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 30,000 shares purchased on 04 September 2014, the 30,000 shares purchased on 11 September 2014, the 20,000 shares purchased on 25 September 2014 and the 20,000 share purchased on the 26 September 2014 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 1,116,735 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 138,202,042 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 1,116,735 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 138,202,042
