QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 4,000 shares purchased on 17 June 2014, the 30,000 shares purchased on 19 June 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 20 June 2014, the 5,000 shares purchased on 23 June 2014, the 15,000 shares purchased on 24 June 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 25 June 2014, the 12,000 shares purchased on 26 June 2014, the 12,000 shares purchased on 27 June 2014 and the 10,000 shares purchased on 30 June 2014  have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 890,509 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 138,709,240 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 890,509 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 138,709,240.
