TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 7,500 shares purchased on 01 July 2014, the 30,000 shares purchased on 02 July 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 03 July 2014, the 7,500 shares purchased on 04 July, the 15,000 shares purchased on 08 July, the 20,000 shares purchased on 11 July 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 14 July 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 15 July 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 21 July 2014, the 7,095 shares purchased on 24 July 2014, the 11,000 shares purchased on 25 July 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 28 July 2014, the 3,271 shares purchased on 30 July 2014 and the 12,000 shares purchased on 31 July 2014   have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 817,341 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 138,619,042 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 817,341 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 138,619,042.
